Qatar's big announcement for visitors



Doha: Qatar has announced the extension of Haya Card validity for visitors.


According to the details, Qatar has given another facility to FIFA World Cup fans, 

now the fans with Haya card will be able to visit Qatar for one more year as the validity

of the card has been extended till January 24, 2024.


The card will be applicable to holders of all types of Haya cards used during the 

FIFA World Cup.


The Ministry of Interior said in a statement that World Cup fans and organizers outside

Qatar can now enter the country with the Haya Card until January 24, 2024.


According to the Qatari Ministry of Interior, cardholders will be allowed to enter Qatar 

until January 24, 2024 under the following conditions:



An approved hotel reservation through the online Haya portal or proof of accommodation with

family or friends, a Welded passport valid for at least 3 months upon arrival in Qatar,

and Welded health insurance for the duration of your stay in the country, and a return ticket.


Under the extension, Haya Card holders to Qatar will get the following facilities:



'Hiya with Me' feature which allows Hiya card holders to invite 3 family members or friends,

multiple entry permit to Qatar, e-gate system for entry and exit through state ports. 

Usage, no fee required.
