Largest e-sports and gaming festival of the World is going to held in Riyadh




Riyadh: The world's largest e-sports and gaming festival is going to be held in the 

Saudi capital, Riyadh, in which fans from all over the world will participate.


According to Urdu News, the world's largest e-sports and gaming festival will be held

in Riyadh in July this year with a world record prize pool of 30 million dollars.


The 8-week event, titled Gamers 8: The Land of Heroes, which kicks off on July 6, will 

include sports competitions, live music by renowned artists, shows, community gaming,

educational platforms and secondary activities.



Which will be held in Riyadh Boulevard City, aims to be a target for gamers and 

entertainment seekers alike this summer.


He said that the land of heroes is a place for world-class e-sports champions and lovers

of the gaming universe, where you can compete for glory and walk among the heroes of your

chosen story world.


After the success of last year's festival which attracted 1.4 million tourists, the second

edition doubled the prize pool to 15 million.


In 2022, gaming leagues around the world competed in the top five titles, including Rocket

League , Fortnite , Dota 2 Riyadh Masters, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege and PUBG Mobile.



391 top players from 113 international teams from 61 countries participated in it.


Parallel to last year's agenda, Gamers 8 will conclude with the Next World Forum, a 

first-of-its-kind sports and gaming platform.


World to engage in a series of panel discussions, workshops and activations.


Gamers 8 is an initiative under the Saudi eSports Federation to build an infrastructure

around the gaming industry, build communities and ecosystems around esports, provide

viable jobs for local creators, and make the Kingdom a global esports hub. Tries to

position itself as a hub.


The chairman of the Saudi eSports Federation said last year that with more than 23.5 million

Saudi citizens who consider themselves gamers, the eSports Festival hopes to create an 

opportunity where people not only enjoy games but You will also make a career path 

through your hobby.
