The storm covered all of New York in a white blanket of snow, the dire situation paralyzing

emergency response efforts.


Cold storm death toll rises to 55 in US .

According to the British broadcasting agency "Sky News", vehicles are stuck in the snow in 

the American state of New York, millions of people have been trapped in their homes due to

heavy snowfall.


A storm called 'Bomb Cyclone' with strong winds hit Buffalo, New York's second largest city,

blanketing the entire area with a blanket of white, paralyzing emergency response efforts.


Vehicles are stuck in heavy snowfall .









Some people are walking in the snow .









25 deaths have been reported in Buffalo, but more deaths are expected .


According to 'AFP', the Buffalo International Airport has also been closed until Tuesday.


There is snow on top of cars in Buffalo .



Citizens are clearing snow to make way .
