IMF mission reached Pakistan for talks


Islamabad: The IMF mission has reached Pakistan for talks with Pakistan.



According to ARY News, sources say that the talks between the IMF and Pakistan will start

from today, while technical talks will be held in the first phase.


Sources say that the first four days will be technical talks in which data from different

departments will be discussed.


Sources have said that the people have to bear more hardships, otherwise the poor sections

will be saved through subsidies.


Economist Dr. Zubair while speaking in ARY News' program 'Atraz Hai' said that the former

finance minister also signed the IMF agreement with his eyes closed and now the current

finance minister is also going to accept the terms of the IMF.



The economist said that the people are suffering from inflation as it is, there will be more 

inflation, the value of the dollar will stabilize. It may take more time


The economist said that the IMF's program is very flawed, there are many mistakes, instead 

of reducing the losses in the power sector, the prices were increased, the IMF is demanding

more taxes, which will make the economy and sit down.

Pakistan revealed about the Dangerous presence of lead in some oil paints

A new study has revealed that 40 percent of oil paints used to paint homes in Pakistan contain illegal and dangerous levels of lead, posing a serious threat to children's health. In this study jointly conducted by doctors of Aga Khan University Karachi and experts from Lead Exposure Elimination Project (LEAP), samples of  oil paints taken from the market were analyzed.
